The UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) is a mixed martial arts (MMA) organization that features some of the world's top MMA fighters. The UFC was founded in 1993 and has since grown into a global sports phenomenon, with events held in countries all over the world.

The UFC has a wide variety of weight classes, from straw-weight (up to 115 pounds) to heavyweight (over 205 pounds), and fighters of all genders are now represented, following the addition of women's divisions. The UFC uses a combination of striking and grappling techniques from various martial arts disciplines, including boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, wrestling, and Muay Thai.

UFC events typically feature multiple fights, with fighters competing inside an octagonal cage known as the "Octagon." The UFC has produced many high-profile fighters over the years, including Conor McGregor, Jon Jones, Amanda Nunes, Georges St-Pierre, Ronda Rousey, and many others.

The UFC also has a rigorous drug testing program and enforces strict rules to ensure the safety of fighters, including weight cutting protocols and medical checks.
